You won't find a single fan of any team Thompson has coached for that will tell you he's a great position coach.
Our best years at LB were all years that he wasn't in charge of them. That's not a coincidence.
He is a fantastic recruiter, though.

This was Alabama's worst LB corps since the NC run started in 2009.
