Georgia fans: WTF is wrong with you people?

I had the opportunity to attend the Belk Bowl because one of my good friends is a huge UGA fan and asked me to go with him (for free) - so of course I was up for it.
I told him beforehand my whole stance on how I feel about the SEC pride and that it's really not my thing, but that I would cheer for UGA as if I were a lifelong fan - just to have some fun - since he was giving me the opportunity to go to Charlotte and attend the game essentially free of charge.
So that's what I did. We had seats on around the 40 yard line in the upperdeck. As you can recall - it was cold as shite that night, so we immediately started planning on going down to the lower bowl to find some empty seats and hopefully be a little warmer. When the game kicked off, we were having a blast. I was screaming as if it were Bama playing in an important game and tried my best to have a great time.
But the frickers sitting behind me didn't like it one bit. I was wearing UGA colors and for all they knew I was just a huge UGA fan. But they started in on us almost immediately about us being in the way and making sarcastic comments about "the windows in front". So that's when I decided to freeze my arse off in the upperdeck the rest of the night just to spite a bunch of non-cheering lame arse UGA fans.
It was the lamest game experience I've ever been a part of and it was a huge disappointment. Save me the BS about it being a disappointing bowl game with an underwhelming opponent. I was at the black-out game in 2008 and remember how crazy it was early in the game and how intimidating it was. Not even close to the case here, and there's no excuse in the world for a bunch of people spending money to go to the game and then not only not cheering - but COMPLAINING when other people are.
TL;DR version: UGA fans sucked arse at the bowl game.

What's wrong with you that you haven't let this go already... more importantly why did you cave for some shitty uga fans?

Most (not all) non-New Years Day bowls are snoozers--particularly if you're attending the game of a team that's not your school.

I had let it go, until the UGA fan started a shitty brag thread about chanting "SEC SEC SEC" at their bowl game - when the only reason that happened was because I was literally the one who started the damn cheer.

I felt like I was doing the opposite of caving. I stood my arse up the entire game and refused to move. I was gonna cheer and have fun even if they'd rather sit and be miserably cold.

Sounds to me like you have a problem with two people, not the fanbase in general.

Well, it wasn't disappointing and the opponent was ranked with one of the top defenses in the country.
I think some critical introspection would do you some good, chief.

Well here we are right before opening kickoff. And this was the last standing that any of those people did.

We were quite literally the only people in the entire section standing up for about 3/4 of the game. The only time anyone stood up was when UGA scored, and very occasionally when UL had a 3rd down.

I.... How....? Did you seriously expect a bowl game in the Carolina Panthers stadium between a team from Kentucky and a team from Georgia in the freezing arse cold to actually stack up to the 2008 Blackout?

Not at all. I just didn't expect you people to be such gigantic pussies.

Why were you standing up for 3/4 of the game if everyone else was sitting down? Were other people in other sections standing up? If so, why didn't you just go stand with them?

Present! That is what got under your skin?
I pump some sunshine for us winning the $hittersfull.com bowl...not even mentioning bama=thread started to degrade UGA fanbase.
You just won the SEC and you're pissed....bama probs....must be nice.

I bet Bama fans would have sold out their half of the stadium AND whatever the Louisville fans didn't buy, amirite? Would have stood and yelled til they were spitting blood, too.

Because that's what you do at ballgames. You stand and yell. If I wanted to sit down, be quiet, and freeze my arse off - I'd stay at home, sit in my recliner and open some windows. The people around us seemed miserable to be there.

There were a few, and we actually considered it - but decided to stay to spite the people in the few rows behind us who had a problem with us cheering.

You're judging an entire fanbase off of the 3 people sitting behind you once?
Brilliant insight. I guess we can judge all bama fans on updyke and the sugar bowl redneck jumping/punching woman?

I did get a couple of sections to chant "UGA, UGA, UGA!" with me one time though. So I guess that was good.
