He knows, he is just being a jerk. By his own admission he has been in Texas too long, and the local assholeness and arrogance of your average tshirt Longhorn has rubbed off on him.
He is fun to play with when he really channels that inner orangeness, like having a good knock off purse you bought off Amazon. But most of the time he is more like the poorly stitched off color copy of the purse you get on the street corner from the vendor with the bad teeth.
