maybe I'm naive but I don't see how nepotism got him two different NFL offensive coordinator jobs and an interview for a head coaching job to boot.

Because you have no idea how nepotism works. That's precisely how people get those types of interviews.

The idea that you need to show ability before you get coordinator jobs or head coaching jobs is laughable. Ha! Jim Zorn and Rahim Moore would like a word.

Rahim Moore? Doesn't he play for Denver? I'm guessin' you mean Raheem Morris the ex-head coach of Bucs. Any way, Morris showed some ability as a defensive coach for the Bucs when he was there...and when he came back to TB as a DB coach, after a stint as DC at Kansas State, he improved TB's pass defense that year from #19 to #1 the following year. And before he was hired by TB, Denver interviewed him for their HC position. Morris may not have been cut out to be a HC, but it wasn't because he didn't show any ability...maybe TB would've been better served to go the nepotism route that year...

Any way, I give up...I'll bow to your expertise on nepotism...as I said, could be I'm naive 'bout such things...
