I am wondering who it will be since they said Leak will stay in a non coaches role. Hopefully someone that can show them how to catch a ball.

1950 said George McDonald.

I read that as well supposedly he has ties with Shannon and has some recruiting ties in Florida. Hopefully we don't demote him like Syracuse did mid-way through the season.

The George McDonald stuff was falsely reported.

Just because they say Bonjour does not make them French

Any updates on potential WR coaching candidates.

Alot of football rumor mills and several gator news outlets including oregon news sites have reported Oregon's Matt Lubick to be named WR's coach. Funny thing is he denied the report after the Oregon game.

Saw that stuff. Nothing solid yet. Sit tight.

So about that WR's coach. I guess we are waiting on OchoCinco to graduate community college.

Maybe someone who's contract requires them to stay until NSD?

One of the reasons I'm still suspicious about Napier. I could see it being an agreement between all parties to hold off until this class is in the books. I don't think McElwain would make that move on Saban, even as his competition now. Napier wouldn't help right UF now, while it would hurt Bama.
It's a lateral move though, only thing that makes me think it won't happen. Unless he just prefers working under McElwain, which could be so

Oregon coach or Spurrier (Bubba I think) from USC is what I was thinking when asking.

Former FIU and FAU asst Kerry Dixon II has been hired as the WR Coach. He was RB coach at FIU and FAU and this will be his first go as full time WR's coach. While at FIU and FAU his recruiting regions were Dade County and Texas. Regarded as a good recruiter and motivator who is young and relates to athletes. He is from Texas(Booker T. Washington...The one in Texas funny) and has ties in both S.Florida and Texas so Coach Mac was serious when he said he was takig back Florida. He played WR and QB in college. He might not have alot of experience as WR coach but I trust Mac and Mac knows a thing or two about coaching WR's anyways.
Link is his bio at FIU.

I actually like that we're giving guys like this a chance.
Big Mac (it's gonna catch on) is really making a solid staff. I have way higher hopes than when Muschamp was around, you can see the difference in capacity already.
Not saying Muschamp will never be a good HC, but experience is monumental and evident.

I agree. I watched a press conference of McElwain when he was at Alabama and talked about destroying JP Wilson's stats but his offensive philosophy got them to the Sugar Bowl. The guy has literally not changed since stepping onto the mainstage with the Tide.
