6 months of the SECw being compared to the NFC East and other nonsense is why a big percentage of people liked seeing the west take the collar. Pride goeth before a fall. Same as it ever was.

People will always hate the perennial winner ( Yankees, Celtics, Lakers,etc.)...always have and always will. Envy and jealousy are powerful emotions.....Of course if someone is a fan of a team that will never be on that proverbial "bubble", it doesn't make any difference...does it?

Pride has nothing to do with it. There is nothing that rises that doesn't fall. One day the SEC was bound the fall.

I'm not referring to outsiders in that post. I am speaking about the SEC members (specifically West) who are celebrating each others loses like they are superbowl victories.

I didn't want LSU to lose to ND; hated they got cheated.
I didn't want Ole Miss to lose to TCU; hated they were destoryed.
I didn't want State to lose to GT; hated they weren't prepared.
I didn't want even Auburn to lose to Wisconsin; it hurts how people see Alabama.

As a Bammer, I tremendously hated the fact we lost to a team I detest (OSU) who literally have some of the worst fans on the planet.

None of those losses helped us. They hurt us badly. Those who are celebrating those losses will be the same ones about us their team not getting any respect next year and the years after.

They won't either.
