No one knew at the time, but damn, what a huge get for Tyndall to flip Punter from Mizz.
Awesome to see him step up immediately. I'd have him right behind J. Rich as far as most valuable through 11 games.
Long way to go, but I love what Tyndall has been able to do against seemingly impossible odds. Something about the little man from Michigan gets me hype. Really looking forward to conference play

Our style of play will give a lot of people problems.

Have been very impressed so far, I wish we knew what is gonna happen with Tyndall going forward. This waiting game shite is killing our recruiting.

That's where I'm at too. We need a true PG and some big men in a bad way. Hopefully the NCAA let's us know something relatively soon.

Went to the TSU game last night and I didn't realize how bad our front line was. Good news is the guard play was decent when they didn't settle for 3s against the zone. I liked when they played a little faster forcing the tempo by pressure, etc. I think this team will do alright in conference play, especially if we see some semblance of an inside game.

I do too. Hopefully Mcghee heals up sooner rather than later. I didn't have a chance to watch the TSU game, but looking at the stat line, it looks like we went off from the 3. .
Punter 4-4
Josh Richardson 4-8
Hubbs 3-6
Baulkman 2-3
It's nice to see that Hubbs is slowly starting to get a feel for things too. Really hoping he the game slows down for him and he can start to contribute every game and start to live up to that lofty ranking he had coming out of HS.

Both teams shot well from beyond the arc, tbh. It got down to a 2 point UT lead in the 2nd half and Tyndall got the crowd into it and that's when they went on a run. Otherwise it was a rather uninspired effort...had one of those sleepwalker type games feel to it.
I agree on Hubbs, maybe these young guards will take some pressure off of him and he can just let the game come to him. He has a chance to be a star.

Fair enough. Another example of stats not telling the entire story. The cold spells that we seem to hit every game are eye gouging, but there's definitely a lot of good things going on offensively as well IMO
I wanted to make it to the game but we had my brother in law in town. We'll definitely be there for conference play

Absolutely. hopefully I didn't seem to infer otherwise, I like these young guys. They are a talented group. Hell, I've been in those boring games before, sometimes they just happen. As long as the VOLS still get Ws, that's all that matters.
