It's the hypocrisy of the whole thing. I'll sell my look at me Mr. Christian good guy to look good in the press, and then I'll throw my so-called values under the table whenever it suits me or to win. It's fine to play the win at all costs game, but don't bring Christ into it if you aren't playing by His rules all the time not just when it suits yourself.

How are redemption and forgiveness anti christian values?

Well, it will be fun watching ole miss lay in this bed. The kid is going to be a cancer. Too bad for the Rebs Freeze isn't going to cut it out before it metastasizes.

You think he'd be redeeming and forgiving if the guy wasn't his number 1 QB recruit? You think he wants to forgive Justin Cox, Miss State DB, for breaking and entering? He can forgive Kelly without letting him on the team.

Do you possess the gift of clairvoyance? I don't.
Would Dillon Day have been allowed to deep playing for MSU had he not been an integral part of the offense? The league had to step in and make that call.

Day stepped on a dude playing a violent game. He didn't try to beat up law enforcement.

If you want to get into a theological debate, Christ spent his time among those committing sins, preaching for atonement. He also called out those guilty of hypocrisy.

Repeatedly, illegally trying to hurt them.

And now you're just looking ridiculous.

We can make that case for rapists, killers, robbers, etc. You can be forgiven, but punishment for actions still has to stand. Should we let out all criminals because they ask for forgiveness?

Christian? He uses more profanity than any other coach in the SEC. This is coming from someone who played high school football for him.

Ridiculous for what. He jumped on a guy and got suspended. He should have. He didn't try to beat up cops.

Most don't commit blasphemy as often as Hugh does.

It happened multiple times in several games and your coach overlooked it. In fact, he thought no action should have been taken by the SEC.
The SEC acted because Mullen wouldn't.

According to the OM poster, the NCAA and SEC are not capable of doing this, because well, they are not a government and therefore do no have laws.
