It is what it is. It's recognized by more media outlets than Syracuse was. That era left too many question marks. The 59 team gave up 21 points(7 to Tulane in garbage time, 7 to #9 Tennessee, and 7 to Billy Cannon on a punt return) all year and is rated the #3 team from the years 56-95.

Freeze took over a 2-10 team with no QB or talent anywhere else on the field with barely enough scholarship players to have a 2-deep and won more games in his first season than Butch has been able to do in either of his two seasons.

It's no mystery y'all have been better over the past three years. But Tennessee also hasn't had 2 and 3 and 4 win seasons over the past 10 years. That is rock bottom. Tennessee just went through its worst few years in its history and never won less than 5 games.

Thank goodness we're on our way back.

Edit: BTW ole miss is cool with me, just keep beating bama.

Yep, didn't need to try to hard to win by 31. Sure wish Ole Miss could play you again next year because it is as good as a bye week. Earn an easy win, rest the starters and get the 2nd string guys some game action.
