I find things like this counterproductive. For example imagine I responded:
"I wish they would have instead that reporter to donate their time in those neighborhoods were those murders where perpetrated, any of the activities Belle suggested would be great. It only shows that Michael Berry and his listeners care more about highlighting the ignorance of a few more than mitigating the real problems they are highlighting the ignorance of."
However I find that just as contrived and finger pointing as I do the protesters.

I think the larger issue is that protesting police brutality against the black community is just a very flimsy bandaid on some much larger issues within the black community. The reinforcement of a culture that prides itself on crime like running drugs, abusing women, and "not snitching" through multiple generations at this point is eating their community from within.
Not saying that police should be above reproach. But we should maybe be asking how these kids/young men got into a situation where a cop could take them out to begin with.
