Even Shula got some good players. Definitely more than what Pinkel or Dantonio have to work with.

He went 6-6 with Shula players.

The 12-0 was after signing the best class in SEC history which contributed a LOT that year.

What did Saban do at MSU with 2,3* players, did he win the BiG? Did he win 10 games? NO

Saban can take a school with great recruitting hotbed in its back yard and kick your butt though.

Thats all that matters!

Shula wasn't that bad of f a recruiter was he? His 10 Win season he was just getting his guys there certainly no Saban of course. Or did Shula really recruit bad?
