This. As a qualifier out of HS as long as he has credits from UT, he should be able to graduate from JUCO in 1 year and then have 3 to play 3 or 3 to play 2 depending upon whether he RS or not at the JUCO. I have no idea if he will end up at MU.

He's already played one year.
I don't think he can reshirt at Juco for that one year, if he's able to graduate in one year.
That would still only leave 2yrs of eligibility.

assuming he CAN graduate from the juco in 1 year, then yes, he would be able to qualify for play, immediately in the subsequent season at any school.

best approach to take here, when kids go juco it's always unknown when/where/if they will show up at the next level.
