I don't know why. Daylon himself said that us getting malik would go a long way

I think his problems with the current state of the Aggie defense run way too deep for one player committing to swing him all the way back. And since it appears as though y'all aren't gonna be hiring huge name DC, I think that'll offset getting Malik. Like, I'm sure it will help, but I don't think it will be enough. If he visits on the 16th, I think he flips.

He cares WAY more about fitting in the crowd and playing with his friends than some sort of logically coaching reason to go one place or another.

Malik committing means Sheffield will also commit. Those two committing would solidify Mack because then he would have a part of those commitments. Sumlin has given him a chance to take ownership in this class, which means he will want to stick around if all goes to plan.

Malik is the key. He goes to Texas, we get a crappy DC hire, and then it all unravels. If Malik commits to A&M it doesn't matter who the DC is we will get 3for3 of our top defensive targets.

And dogging on Malik being a EE is dumb. If LSU wants to really make an impact with Texas recruits every year it is time to get on the bandwagon with early recruiting. You want a guy like Malik in Texas, that means getting to know his grandmother's favorite color when he is a sophomore in high school.
