I think bandwagon fan, because that's what most of them are. That's true with any team that's won big recently, so it's nothing different, but it is one reason why I couldn't pull myself to root for those schools. Never understood the bandwagon mentality or how it could be considered enjoyable.

Crazy thought. Maybe they grew up a Kentucky fan then went to school at UA or visa versa

No it is not. Bama's football team has been a top 10 merchandise sales going back decades, even during the worst years. It would be the same of UK. Michigan went 5-7 last year and they were the third most valuable college football program. You are just ignorant

I'm sure both programs have plenty of bandwagon fans but Bama consistently packed the house during the Shula days. Blueblood programs like Bama football and UK basketball have very loyal core fan bases.
