According to Chad Simmons one parent wants Ole Miss and the other wants UGA. Van told him he's 50/50.
Hopefully he picks the Rebs and gives Swag yet another weapon.

So UGA posters are freaking out about CB picks?

I'm not, we have some options if Van ultimatly goes with Ole Miss although none as good as him. You would probably see us shift to Brad Stewart which is one of those guys who get an offer in state when your better options failed.
We have some great players committed at the position but he is one of the most polished and I really like Van as a player.

He runs really crisp routes for a high school kid

Personally, I have no idea how much weight to put into CB picks - this is the first season I ever knew they existed. Is it just individuals making picks? No real defense or reasoning behind them at the time?
I would definitely rather see it be a consensus UGA pick, but I can't help but feel like the Ole Miss picks are a bit of a knee jerk reaction. I feel good about Jefferson, I think his decision sways more based on what happens with Bobo than anything else.

His dad is a former NFL wide receiver. He is very polished and has been well groomed. He will be a stud wherever he ends up and could start from day 1.

CB picks are generally feeling based, sometimes info based.

UGA gets more quality white receivers than anyone sans BYU.

I like Stewart but I don't think he is as talented as Bennett but he looks the part. He has played himself into some D1 looks. He had a great weekend at the Dome this weekend and has good leaping ability. I'm not against taking him but obviously I prefer Van.

You already responded to that.

He will end up in the NFL. Kid has it all as far as bloodline and grooming. As long as he stays healthy he is going to be really good.
