I'm not sure about that, but this is our 11th time to play them. Series is currently tied 5-5

Sort of - they played four times in the 90s and four times in the 80s
The strong Catholic roots in Louisiana and at the heart of Notre Dame give it more interest than you might think. That said, they've only played 10 times before this year's bowl game (the series is tied at 5 apiece).
