First women's game I have watched this year, but that was awesome! 51-50 over Duke.

Yeah that was great. A LOT of Carolina fans at the game. Aja Wilson with the game winner.

Tell you what - that was the most exciting women's game I can ever remember watching on TV. Even the two announcers, Pam whatshername and Rebecca Lobo said it was the most exciting game they ever called.

Cheese Grits was right ... refs were fricking horrible. They did everything they could to handicap that game and keep it close ... plus the lid was on for us in the first half.

That's only the second time Staley has ever been hit with a technical. The other time was on the road against A&M last year and that game had horrible refs as well.

We really needed that game, win or lose, to test this team of ours. But winning makes it so much better. That was a very important game for our future in terms of mindset, fan support, confidence and ... with Notre Dame losing this past week we should now be consensus #1 in the country.

Been there and done that too many times to expect refs to actually call a fair game.

Uconn and Dook @ home have 8 players on the floor at all times.

ps, notice in the ESPN headlines it is listed as S. Carolina and not South Carolina.

F*ck ESPN for doing everything they can to marginalize the SEC. In other non reported ESPN News UK beat UL (Rivalry game with 15,000 or so in attendance and not even one highlight clip). How many women's non conference games will draw 15K? ESPN dropping the ball yet again.

Lady Gamecocks ... about twenty years ago.

They made us stop. Feminist bullshite.

Now we just call them "Lady G's" or "Staley's Gals."

We've actually got some very feminine lady basketball players ... attractive, well-spoken, very lady-like. I love'em. Tina Roy is my favorite but I've got a bit of a crush on Alaina Coates. Mitchell, Wilson ... they are nice young ladies. A couple of them date football players.

Same across the SEC, they were all Lady schoolname. Seems most dropped the Lady in the past 5 to 10 years. Scrooster is right, you wont recognize most of them in street clothes because they look so different out of uniform.
