Did he really say that?

Because if so, that would mean that LSU accomplished more than Bama in the 2011 season.

I don't think Saban said that but he might think it. I do think the Bama 2011 team was the best I'd seen since the Bryant era and LSU beating us in T-town and the shite out of everyone else meant it was probably the best LSU team in history. You guys just picked the wrong year to have it.

Thanks for kind works Aubie. You guys have really surprised me post IB this year. You're either getting soft or classing it up a bit. No whining, moaning, or crying like the LSU crowd.

BTW, I've been reading on the OSU board how they are glad they are not like the SEC who has all this brotherly love. They never want to see PSU or UMich do anything good.

I really think when you hear "SEC, SEC, SEC", which I used to think was gay, it says something to the rest of the country. It says we play in the toughest league. So, right now if any team gets through the SEC with one loss and wins the SECCG then they are not only guaranteed a spot in the PO they are probably going to get the top seed.

Sims clutch QB draw on third down was a play Coker would not have made. In college, a mobile QB is useful.

Sims is good and clutch.

Why couldn't Coker make that play? Mizzou had 4 linemen and no linebackers in the middle of the field. We only needed 2 or 3 yards.

This is admittedly the first Bama team that resembles the things I like about our better teams. They've been shaky, overcome some adversity, have seemed to actually care about what they're doing.

Stark contrast to some of Saban's prior teams that resembled soulless USSR hockey teams.

Saban has a very unique and valuable ability to criticize a man's performance without criticizing the man. Clearly the Bama players trust him.
