I agree with th OP, people are not listening to what the committee is saying. That's not their fault.

Look at TCU, Baylor, and OSU wins,

OSU has the best 2 wins. blowouts if MSU and Wisky. That is undeniable. The committee has shown since the beginning that each week can and will change. They also don't care as much abou losses , as the do wins.

You can say each week stands on its own, but each week also is a ranking of a team's entire body of work. It's not like it's a new committee every week, so obviously previous rankings DO have a bearing on this week's.

The committee put itself in a bind when it started dropping FSU despite them staying unbeaten and by ignoring the head-to-head between Baylor and TCU. Does anybody really believe that FSU isn't going to be in this? No way. That means if you put Ohio State in, you're going to end up dropping TCU at least two spots after they just beat somebody by 50 points.

By the way, I think Ohio State should be in over either TCU or Baylor. I just think the committee has put themselves in a little bit of a bind. They've created a situation that will result in a lot more backlash than there needed to be.
