Throwing out competition, I just think that Mariota looks more poised. Not necessarily a knock on JFF though. When JFF began to scramble he just never seemed like he knew where his next step was, but for some reason he got the job done 9 times out of 10 (Many of those one out of tens showed up when he played LSU

Mariota is a rs junior, which Manziel would be if he didn't leave for the NFL.

Sorry but the level of competition Mariota faced was no comparison to the caliber JFF played against. Hell, AZ is the best defense he's faced in the PAC and it took him three tries to get a win.
