You can't argue 2 marquee games if they weren't ranked at the end of the season. Your argument is invalid and if FSU was in the Big 12 , PAC 12 or SEC they would have 3 losses. FACT.

Everything is relative. A non-conference slate of Oklahoma State, Notre Dame and Florida is much, much better on the whole than Samford, Minnesota, and SMU. Or even WVU, Florida Atlantic, and Western Carolina. The committee said it would heavily favor the non-conference schedule and that doesn't seem to be the case in dealing with FSU.

You can argue the semantics of the word "marquee" all you want but it doesn't refute the point.

That is purely speculation. Is that what you want the committee to go on? Speculation? I have a hard time with a group of people deciding that how a team wins is more important than the other criteria I listed. It's a joke, actually.
