New Orleans is as central, if not more, than Atlanta to the footprint of the sec. nashville is nice but game should be in a dome.

Really?? Maybe to the "geographic" center of the SEC but not to realistic "center" of the SEC looking at school location, population & avg. distance of travel by each fanbase...

Geographically, I would be willing to concede this, except a few posters have already proven it wrong.

Atlanta is also the population center of the SEC.

So many Bama/LSU/etc fans/grads already living in/around ATL.

If the SECCG was in NO, you'd probably have almost as many LSU fans having to drive from ATL to NO as you'd have driving from NO to ATL for the SECCG now.
