Final rankings/bowl hypothetical

Now that we are No. 12 in the CFP poll, we are basically a lock to finish the regular season in the top 10. These match ups will all be watched closely by us:
1 Alabama vs. 16 Missouri
-We need Alabama to win big.
2 Oregon vs. 7 Arizona
-We need Oregon to win big.
4 Florida State vs. 11 Georgia Tech
-We need FSU to beat Tech but could still jump FSU if they lose as weird as that is.
6 Baylor vs. 9 Kansas State
-Either Baylor to win or Kansas State to win big
22 Boise State vs. Fresno State
-It would be nice for Boise to romp in this one which they should.
Of course it would be nice if Ohio State lost a close one to Wisconsin but I am not sure if Wisconsin would jump us or not but they probably would. Also, TCU losing to Iowa State would be incredible, but it's just not happening.
So if those five scenarios happen, we jump Tech, Arizona and Kansas State/Baylor to put us at 9. Do we jump State due to quality wins and head-to-head or do they keep us behind them because of the one-game difference and the raping we took from the Pigs?
Also, what bowl does a No. 7, 8, 9 or 10 ranking put us in?

I don't think I can bring myself to rooting for FSU but I feel like if we do make it into a NY6 bowl it will be the orange/peach bowl.

I'm not sure which bowl we would be placed in, but I'm pretty sure the top 11 are guaranteed one of the access bowls (assuming no conference champion is outside the top 11). That would be crazy for us and State to end up in NYD bowls

If Alabama and Boise win, not only will we probably be in a NY6 bowl, but we will have beaten three teams that are playing in them as well.

Assuming GT loses, it will still get the Orange Bowl due to contract tie-in, right? That means we have to finish in the top 10, since the other spot is reserved for Boise State/other non-Power 5 champ.
We need Kansas State and Arizona to lose big, and Ohio State to beat Wisconsin. I'm afraid they won't drop Ohio State below us if they lose.

I still don't understand why GT would get the auto Orange bid. Unless something has changed with the playoffs, I don't think they have to take an ACC team as long as the ACC champ isn't available. It's like when the Rose Bowl took TCU because Oregon was in the BCS championship, or when we got a BSU/TCU Fiesta Bowl because Texas was in the BCS championship.

I don't think Kansas State has to lose big. They're three spots ahead of us and we have the best wins in the country.

We are pretty much counting on Bama beating Mizzou, Oregon beating Arizona, and either Baylor or K-State dropping below us w/ a loss. Ohio State over Wisconsin would do it for us too.
Simply put, we need Bama over Mizzou and two of the other 3.

It would be all too glorious. We're both in Miami and they're shite talking about how we wish we had Craig Krentzel and their white DE's are twice as good as RNK.
