Those 2, Kyle, and the indoor which is the closest building tot he north of the practice fields. I make it to an occasional open practice and I don't think it looked like there was an issue with space. I don't tihnk I've ever heard a coach complain either. I guess LSU just has an abundance.

Just to be clear, wasn't criticizing or crowing. Just pointing out the difference in design philosophy between TAMU and LSU.

Looks to me like TAMU built their their football practice facilities as close to the stadium as possible and were willing to sacrifice space for convenience. Also, the only locker room the football team has in the Bright Center.

Whereas LSU, the football ops center was built where it could spread out. Four fields were built as a result, so offense, defense, and special teams each had a separate field. The additional artificial turf field was for game preparation for upcoming away games where the stadium had turf.

Having the Indoor practice facility, weight rooms, training and meeting rooms, and coaches offices nearby was part of the plan. The whole concept was to have everything under one roof, and right next door to the outdoor fields. Obviously, this meant an additional locker room other than the one in Tiger Stadium. That's what will be updated soon.

The one in Tiger Stadium , as you recall, was updated before last year...
