Dennis shaver: we could do better, but we could also do MUCH worse. He's dealt a difficult hand having to replace Pat Henry. He's had some really tough breaks with the men's side having multiple elite talents being dismissed from the program. He also doesn't have the facilities that compare to his peers, though we've come a long way.

Like every collegiate sport, there's just so much parity these days. Pat Henry doesn't exactly dominate anymore. A&M, LSU, Arkansas, Florida, Oregon, and Florida State all have top tier programs now. No one will ever dominate like Arkansas men and LSU women did for the majority of championship history
