Took the HC job at Jacksonville st last year and they had one of their best seasons ever under Clark. Took the UAB job this past year and had a fantastic recruiting class for UAB. As well as gave them their first winning season in a decade. Noted bammer. But imo has earned a coaching job in the SEC. He is well connected and respected in the in-state so recruiting wouldn't damper that much. I believe that he is bound for a major program HC within 10 years.

I have heard that he is a bammer and big friends with Saban. I think that he was once offered an off-field job at UAT similar to what Kevin Steele did but he turned it down because he wanted an on-field coaching position. Someone correct me if I am wrong.
