no, just that the majority of Missouri sports fans could give a shite about the Tigers. Too many professional teams.

edit: I take that back. I bet most Missourians give enough of a shite to go to a game in STL or KC. But if it inconveniences them in any way (like driving hours to ATL), they wouldn't go. Whereas the Alabama fanbase is diehard and would go see their Tide regardless of how difficult it is to see them

All I can say is that if Bama loses this "home" game to a ragtag group from Missourah, there's no way they should get into the playoffs.

Mizzou has got a missing generation of fans that didn't get into the Tigers whether they were alumni or sidewalkers due to the program sucking massive amounts of dick for a long time. Those fans are the ones that would have the time, desire, and ability to travel to games like this. Recent grads (last decade) will likely travel if they've got the chance, maybe even some sidewalkers, and definitely the die hard fans. The building of the hard core base will still take a while.

It's easy for Bama fans to travel and have a reputation for being as die hard as they are because their bad period was pretty short and they win a lot. People just don't travel to see their team lose, and that was the case for Mizzou for a good portion of the 80s and 90s.

Even the Nebraska sea of red is shrinking in size now that they're not dominating every game they play. It's just the way it works.
