I think what he meant to say is you can transition to a 4-3 with minimal personnel discrepencies.

He was talking about how changing schemes was going to hurt Auburn. The only big difference in a 4-3 and a 4-2-5 is the 4-2-5 uses a "star" that moves from LB to S and the 4-3 uses a 3rd LB all the time. You don't need completely different personnel like going to a 3-4.

It has hurt us recruiting top players we projected to play the "star" because they want to play S or LB to get to the NFL.
