That's like the 3rd bama fan I've heard say this, which is telling in itself considering were talking about their rival.

It doesn't make any sense to me. Why can't an entirely different unit with different coaching/personnel/scheme co-exist with a great offense??? They have the resources to match anyone. Please explain yourself.

Oh and save yourself the TOP argument, it's just not true, go back and look at stats.

I explained it in my post. basically it boils down to more plays per game equal lower stamina on the defensive side. Now if they are good enough to force short drives and lots of 3 and outs, then its not a big deal, but that isnt going to happen against teams with good offenses, and those teams are going to be facing a wore out defense in the 4th.

Its not about TOP, its about number of plays. Those 2 things dont ALWAYS correlate.
