Put in Austin, let him get us 2-3 more first downs in the second half, it changes the whole game. The defense gets to rest and stops Mizzou one more time. We maybe get a FG at least. Brandon was missing easy throws badly. That's why people are pissed. To the average fan, it looked like Allen was begging to come out. According to Bielema, it was the opposite. I'm

I've bitched plenty about BA. More of how he was used and playcalling, but at times drunkenly devolved into more direct insults for which I apologize. However, I don't recall once calling for his backup I've learned to watch what you ask for. I would have to believe he is far and away the best option we have (which is scary) or the coaches would yank his arse. Especially if he was injured. And I think most fans that are pissed at the outcome aren't necessarily pissed about this lone game. It's been the second half bullshite we've seen and late game collapses and wins shite away the last two years. We NEVER pull out close ones. Sorry, but that's a knock on the coaches. They've done great to get us in position to win, but it's apparent that unless we blow someone out we will get our asses handed to us.

If Austin hadn't managed to at least move the ball vs Ole Miss, nobody would have been calling for him.

He did a decent job when he was put in there. 3 of 5 passing, including one over 30 yards, and the offense got two FGs while he was in there (defense scored the TD). If he had been a disaster vs Ole Miss, fewer people watching Friday would have wanted him in the game.
