Whoever is hired as A&M's new DC will have to recruit better, more physical players on the defensive side of the football. I don't think the Aggies have anything to lose approaching Muschamp about the job--maybe he'll like the challenge. Their quick scoring offense makes it tough on their defense.
Despiite his struggles, Myles Garrett is a great prospect and will be solid in the future, but it looks like he won't have enough help.

Muschamp is a HC level guy now, regardless of Fla results. He will go to another Power 5 Conf or lower tier regroup gig, before becoming an SEC DC again(been there done that at LSU, Aub , and Tex)..
He may take something like that(ATM DC), but if I were he, Sexton, or one of his consulting peeps, I wouldn't return back to the SEC as DC yet a 3rd time(it's semi job regression?), even at 1M per, unless he longer aspires future HC gigs?
He needs to get back on the horse and work his craft(being an HC) elsewhere.
