He waved his civil rights goodbye when he tried to wrestle Wilson's pistol away. If you're in Wilson's shoes that is a direct attempt on your life from a kid with a record as long as Santa's wish list.

memphis-if he would have been shot AT THAT MOMENT he was assaulting the officer then the shooting is justified. Once he walked/ran away from the police car and officer the THREAT is non-existent. Once he turns around and comes back towards the officer the threat is legitimate.

Once the suspect is away from you and at a distance, and you know he is unarmed, then the use of deadly force will be questioned. Whether right or wrong. Because you have other options, the use of deadly force is questioned. Officer Wilson protected himself when the confrontation happenned at his unit. Which he had every right to do.

The MOMENT Michael Brown walked/ran away Officer Wilson life was not in danger. Therefore use of deadly force is in question now by the Federal Govt. Therefore Officer Wilson is subject to Federal prosecution.
