It's nice to know that other programs measure their success by comparison to Alabama and not by how innately successful they are on their own. Feels good to be on top
It's a metric I use when bama fans are using every meaningless argument they can think of to belittle what Mett is doing in the pros. Is he MVP material? No, but he's a rookie that's not playing horribly.
You guys are kind of pathetic when it comes to other schools' players having success in the NFL.

When the best thing you can say about your college football program is that you put a rookie QB in the NFL "that's not playing horribly", it's gotta be a rough season. Therefore, I understand the abundance of shitty posts/threads by LSU fans. We all see the state of the program right now and understand your frustration.

Love seeing other SEC programs have success in the NFL. Like seeing guys I watched in college be stars at the next level.
Don't know why anyone else wouldn't.

They do as a group come off a bit sensitive in this area.
Not sure why. They've had a bevy of RBs and LBs that have had success in the NFL.
LA kids fare better than any other state per capita, period. So it stands to reason that LSU players would also.
On the subject of Mettenberger, he has the arm strength to make all the throws, and he appears to be improving on his progressions. But he's going to have a very difficult time with his lack of mobility. He needs a solid OL. Sunday saw 2 new starters on that line.
And he actually had a better game than Sanchez.
