LSU's trying, but it's hard to get sports fans in small towns to care about more than one or two sports at a time. There's only so much time that can be devoted to going to games and only so much money that can be spent on tickets and such.

Let's face it, if you're an Auburn fan and you can afford football OR basketball tickets, which are you going to choose?

Auburn has already sold out of season tickets in basketball from what I have read. We might not be great this year, but we will be pretty good in the future as long as Pearl sticks around
