As thrilled as I was with the result last night, the best moment IMO happened immediately after the game. I can't find a picture of it, but almost the entire UGA and Auburn teams joined together in prayer and honored one of the most memorable Auburn Tigers, Philip Lutzenkirchen. Very classy move by both teams (Auburn, not to leave the field in frustration, and UGA, not to go celebrate immediately.) Shows that football is a brotherhood and there are more important things in life than the game we all love. RIP Lutz

Awesome. Another reminder that it's just a game.

I caught the tail end of a segment on Phillip yesterday on Game Day. I think they said he took a girl with Down's Syndrome to her Sr. Prom. If that's true, then he was a class act.

People is people no matter what. Players do a much better job of remembering this than fans when it comes to sports.

Thank you for sharing that story. Things tend to get heated between fans. It is good that the players show an example of civility, and glad to hear they came together for a common respect for a good young man.

Knew the guy and family sort of. Played basketball against a little kid who had no business hitting threes on me. But he did. They have a basketball court in backyard. He was 10. Always athletic. Great family! RIP Phil.
