Florida fricked our backdoor backdoor to the East crown, so we're either going to have to win out these last three or hope Auburn beats Georgia to give the possibility of going 2-1.

I'm watching Tennessee vs. Kentucky and Dobbs is going to be a load. The DL will have to eat in this Aggie game and @ Tennessee to even things out.

I'm really hoping the offense aka Mauk turned a little bit of a corner last week and we become capable of scoring 24-30 again. Hansbrough and Murphy need to start breaking long ones again, too.

I have no idea what to expect. But I'm nervous, especially being without Penton and Webb (for the 1st half anyway.)

Has there been any word on Penton?

If we can't go at least 2-1 we don't deserve a trip to ATL... hate to say it but it's true.

Unless the offense starts doing something I'd be afraid of going to ATL regardless. That could be really embarrassing with the way this team has been executing.

I'd like two east crowns in a row and 2 out of 3 since we joined, but that has the potential of being a bloodbath.

we're not as bad as we look on O.

Seriously, we're one good game from opening the floodgates of absolute awesome.

I agree. If we could even excel at one phase (like rushing offense) it could be enough. The potential is there.

The only way we could get better than average throwing it would be to have someone with speed, deep speed like Nate Brown or Lawrence Lee break out to take advantage of the one thing Mauk does well - toss it deep.

Anyone else feeling warm and fuzzy seeing Bo Pelini getting his arse handed to him by Wisconsin?

I hope I'm wrong, but, I'm preparing for this to be one of the worst weekends in recent MU sports history.

Early momentum in favor of the Tigers. Looks like we showed up with some kind of offensive game plan this week.

I was watching that game as the bugeaters gave up the lead. Bobo peed a little, watching him self destruct is priceless.

not a great test by any means, we all know the Aggie D is a joke, but 500 yards of offense none the less.

I hope that last pass by Mauk to Hunt, under crap conditions with the season on the line, means the kid has arrived.

this game was about the D showing up big against a pretty decent offensive team, and the O just showing up.

We did just enough, aside from all the screwing up, to bring home the win. The quality was in the players just going out and playing harder than the competition.

Well they are a ranked team, I suppose there is that, but there is a lot about the performance in mistakes both by players and coaches, to make you scratch your head.

Very likely gonna need to play even better to beat Tenn. and Arky.

I thought the O did more than just show up. I thought there was some questionable play calling at times and the O did struggle finishing drives in the 1st half, mostly due to penalties, but once they got that corrected we saw what happened in the 2nd half.

Thought Mauk played well. Hansbrough goes without saying. Murphy was solid. Thought the line played well. Receivers made some catches. Of the top of my head, the only drop I can remember was by Witter, who I was glad to see score.
