Gee, I guess we didn't get your rule book in time. FWIW I've never heard anybody but old-timers(of which I'm one)discuss any of the old Mythical championships for basketball, but there's no harm in it.

Meant to say any mythical title. The folks in Atlantic City called up Pitt, which was recognized as the best team in the East(and that normally meant the best team in the country)and LSU, which was recognized that year as the best team in the south and said, let's play for a national championship. LSU won and received the American Legion trophy calling them the best team in the country. No harm in folks claiming a mythical title. Just like there's no harm in Arkansas fans dreaming of winning a title in something other than basketball or track. Yes, we know there's some of the so-called mythical variety there also and I for one believe the Hogs were the best team in the land in football a time or two back in the 60's.

1- Your grammar tells me you are not a college graduate.
2- You just referenced 1992-1996 as to why LSU can't beat Arkansas.
