Until the Razorbacks start winning a decent number of SEC football games, Jeff Long will catch flack.

Do you think Long is a good athletic director?

He's OK. My quote was in reference to what I expect as a common reaction from fans. I saw it with Frank Broyles as well. Whenever a the football team wasn't winning on the level of what was expected, Frank would catch flack. I wouldn't expect anything different.

FWIW, I like Coach Bielema and CMA a lot. I'm OK with Jeff Long but I lean toward the indifferent side with my opinion in regards to him because I really don't think about him enough to give a damn. I'm not JL's boss nor his anything. He was hired to do a job. It's his job. It's not my job to evaluate his performance. I only have an opinion and I made it clear. He's OK IMO.

I'm a Razorback fan.

That was because, generally, when things were not going well it was because of Frank's micro-managing of coaches. He was constantly trying to run things on the field of play instead of running the business side which is the job of an AD.

The stories of Frank showing up to Nolan's practices and handing him plays to be ran during that season comes to mind...
