Oregon and the SEC w champ may both end up in the playoffs and neither play each other. Oregon may get knocked out by someone else. You admit you have problems with teams who spread it out ie. Ohio State/TCU/Baylor. One of them could end up as the matchup for the Ducks.

The SEC champ may have to deal with another team first as well, who will have time to gameplan etc. No team is untouchable this year, or really any year. Fluke plays, bad quarters, questionable coaching decisions can all lead to huge momentum swings
