I don't know about Winston but I have thought several times that it wouldn't surprise me in the least that someone in our program wasn't doing this....only fleeting thoughts but we sure get blown out of a lot of games we should be tight in. Bear Bryant had a reputation for being very gambler friendly....I don't think it is so but Bobo has a house full of kids and lots of pressure to earn, Richt is in a similar situation....just saying it wouldn't come as a total shock.....

If it came out that Richt or Bobo were calling games differently because they had money on them, shocked wouldn't even start to describe my reaction.

I'm sure there's a ton of reasons we get blown out in the games we do and it is definitely frustrating as hell. But man, don't embarass yourself with this. It's not even worth spending the time to list the reasons Richt and Bobo aren't throwing games.

As far as someone in our program, wouldn't even be remotely surprised to find that Quincy Carter did. Or he just stayed up all night doing coke. Or both? But since then I haven't really worried about it. It's positions like QB that are really set up to throw a game and I don't see any of the QBs we've had under Richt doing it. At all. And no, I don't think our kickers have been either

He and former UGA coach Wally Butts got caught up in a little betting scandal....some of you younger bucks may not know about this interesting little history in UA/UGA lore.
