Why would we quit recruiting him over the solicitation of money from a "representative" of his?

It makes perfect sense. Unless you think your boss should automatically fire you for asking for a raise -- instead of letting you keep working at your current salary.

The amount of ignorant disconnect from Auburn fans over the Cam situation is humorous to behold.

So you think the similarity of getting paid for a job, and asking for a raise, and the solicitation of money for play, which is an NCAA no-no, is comparable?

ETA There was a reason Auburn stopped recruiting Lache Seatrunk, cold turkey, three weeks before NSD.
