The only thing that doesn't make sense is Oklahoma ahead of us. It doesn't matter though, still a lot will play out.

Well I disagree with them too then. If you use full body of work and how the season is going you would say LSU is better now. If you have Ole Miss ahead you are choosing to just look at one game. I understand people disagree but that is how I see it

OM still lost. The point is that every OM fan now wants to point to how evenly matched that the game was when reality was that LSU simply pushed OM around and the only way that OM stayed in the game is based on the turnovers. In fact, that is the most telling point of how LSU owned that game in that they won despite four turnovers.

i personally don't need to go that route. LSU and Ole Miss have the same record. LSU beat Ole Miss. LSU is better than Ole Miss. I don't need to use transitive comparisons of who played Auburn closer, which is basically all Ole Miss fans have to stand on.

Personally I don't care if ole miss is ahead of us, I think the teams should be pretty close

I'm just not sure what the basis for being 5 spots ahead is as opposed to 1 or 2

i dont have a problem with ole miss being above LSU. If LSU beats bama though i'd probably switch them.

I've only seen Tiger fans argue this point, FWIW.

I've seen most third parties argue that the teams were evenly matched and the game, itself, was a battle, FWIW.

Where did I imply that LSU making 4 turnovers makes LSU better? I said that LSU winning despite 4 turnovers makes them better. Imagine if they didn't have 4 turnovers. Look at the box score. The score on the scoreboard doesn't represent what the game looked like on the field and LSU simply ran over OM. Do I care that OM is higher in rankings right now? No, because that will work itself out over time. I just don't think that there should be such a gap between OM and LSU but that is how it goes. Do I think that LSU is better than OM, despite rankings? Hell, yeah. They proved it in numerous ways and LSU has shown consistent improvement since the AU game while almost everyone else has remained at the same level or declined in play. If LSU beats Bama, things should work themselves out pretty well with regards to rankings against OM although I expect that for some absurd reason they will still be ranked behind Bama.

But ya did.

But the scoreboard says 10-7 and only LSU fans claim that LSU dominated the Rebels.

There it is again.

Hope for that in one hand, shite in another, and see which one fills up first.
