I'm honestly not sure what to think.
When Muschamp was hired the formula seemed easy enough, he would field one of the best defenses in the country and Jeremy Foley would bring in a great offensive mind to control the offense. It seemed easy enough.
But, whether it was Charlie Weis or Brent Pease, it seemed like Will Muschamp was overseeing the offense. Weis looked long removed from his days of developing Tom Brady into one of the best quarterbacks of all-time and Pease looked about as far away from exciting as Boise is from Gainesville. EVERYONE seemed to think Muschamp's stubborn desire to run the ball was limiting our potential.
Enter Kurt Roper and the HUNH. This year the offense was different. If not pass-first it was at least evenly distributed and fast paced. But, the unbelievable lack of confidence exuded by Driskel turned into interception after interception.
What if, Muschamp actually wasn't taking control of the offense? Is it really so hard to believe that Weis (who's Kansas team is currently ranked 114th in the country 3 weeks after firing Weis) and Pease (Who's Washington team is averaging the 102nd lowest yards per play against the no-defense Pac-12) were really just inept at coaching?
What if Muschamp tried to step out of his comfort zone and hire a good coordinator to run an offense that his quarterback was incapable of running for whatever reason?
What if during the bye he decided he was going to have to coach all out if it meant him even having a slight chance at remaining the coach at UF?
Against Georgia we saw really well coached blocking schemes and techniques. Demarcus Robinson has been incredibly unmotivated in his time at UF despite his talent, yet in a game where the offense throws 6 passes he has really great blocks that caused a 44 and 65 yard rushing TD? We have pulling guards getting up field to the 2nd level that allow the running backs to pop off 7-8 yard carries countless ties.
Against Georgia it didn't look like our offense played out of their mind because of superior talent. It looked like they perfectly executed a winning gameplan because they were well coached.

That damn fake field goal. That might have been the moment he turned the corner as a goddamn head coach for all we know.

He's also a young head coach still learning the ropes of running a program.

Rape is an incredibly heinous crime. You should reserve that word for when it is truly warranted.
Grow up.
Grow up.

Although I think Florida underestimates its talent a little, this was my takeaway as well.
I'd rather see 5 or 6 plays perfectly executed than 30 plays that are haphazard.
