First off, I think Donnie knows how to play the game and coach the game of the basketball. He will get it done.
Second, this is the absolute weirdest feeling coming into this year. I have zero clue how we will look (I know we will struggle). I just want to see improvement as the year goes on. The SEC is so bad, you never know what could happen.

I'm pumped up. I'm in the minority of UT fans in that I'm just as die hard over MBB as FB. If we can get to a bowl game, it'll make the BB season that much more enjoyable.
Anything better than 7th in conference and I'll be happy. I think we surprise some teams along the way, but probably drop a few ourselves with it being year 0 and the inexperience.
Either way, I'm stoked we won't be playing old man ball anymore.

Did any of you guys catch your exhibition against UPike tonight? Was just curious how they fared after we played them Sunday. They're a scrappy little squad with some D-1 transfers and is #2 in the NAIA right now.

I didn't get to watch but from what I've heard: Hubbs looked good. Armani Moore is thriving with more responsibility. Josh Richardson looks good at PG. Punter and Mostella aren't quite comfortable yet.
Mostella could be a game changer/star on offense but he's raw overall and especially on defense.
Overall - we can shoot but are extremely underwhelming rebounding. Offense is better than defense. Team is talented but definitely a work in progress and may be frustrating early in the season (they're gonna need practice and experience to come together).
