I merely used facilities as the most tangible example. We were years behind on a nutrition staff, years behind on upgrading S&C, years behind on getting rid of Martinez and searching for a new DC, years behind on taking Special Teams seriously (back to the days of Fabris directional kicking for the challenge and the past few years of fair catching out of fear). Some of that rests with the HC, but ultimately the administration either has to hire a HC that knows when/how to make those needed additions/changes or provide the HC with the necessary materials needed to make those things happen. It is no secret that our administration has been very slow to react or pull the trigger on a lot of those things over the years. Occasionally they will come through with a Pruitt-like hire but those occurrences tend to far more often be the exception than the rule.

Yea my point was that if anyone expects to just fire Richt and get a new coach and start getting the results we want, they'll be disappointed. I'm not defending Richt, just saying it's more than just him. I have my complaints about him as well

I agree with Tyler.

Before any of you says that were just being "Disneys" or taking up for Richt, our view is actually much more damning and problematic than the "Fire Richt" crowd.

There's a reason why some programs win big over time through multiple coaches, and others don't.

Well, since that is the case and it is known in the football world - that would explain a lot. No big time or a coach worth a damn would want to come here.

Oh wait, maybe there is something else at work - maybe Richt is being held back... And maybe the admin really doesn't care what we win.

Inquiring minds want to know.
