The one thing that annoys me about our fanbase right now

We are looking for excuse after excuse for why we lost last night. People saying the refs screwed us out of a win need to just shut their mouths. Auburn had almost 100 more yards in penalties than we did. Yes they missed the 12 men on the field for one play but that's not what cost us the game. We got the ball inside the 5 two times with less than ten minutes to go and we weren't able to get it in the endzone. We also had Auburn backed on their heels with several third and long situations when we had the lead, which resulted in Hail Mary passes that we allowed them to catch for 20-30 yards, which later led to touchdowns.
So please, those of you who are saying the refs screwed us or that we got cheated in any way last night, shut up.

Yeah that shite is pissing me off and it cheapens how hard the team fought, honestly.
Constantly allowing then to convert 3rd and long with side fricking open receivers killed us. Our defense was just "off " last night. I don't know if it was injuries or what, but it was awful to watch.
Glad our offense was able to step up, even if they came up just short.

Our offense played their nuts off last night. And our defense didn't just lay down either, they were playing hard but like you said, they were just "off".
I hate that we lost but I'm proud of our team.

Auburn beat us, straight up. Both teams left it all on the field last night, and that's something to hang your hat on.
We have other business to tend to, starting tomorrow. I'm a big fan of the Nick Saban twenty-four hour rule.

We felt like we got cheated. They missed a call that later led to a TD on the drive, we have a guy fumble inside the 5-yard line because he was on top of an Auburn player instead of being on the turf, and we had our best offensive player fumble with under two minutes left to win the game because he had a gruesome injury which caused him to lose the ball 6 fricking inches short of the goal line. Not only that, but then we lose said best offensive player for the year and lose the game. Forgive me for not feeling a bit cheated by the refs and the football God's. We deserved that win.

We should have beat them. Two shots inside the 5. So many starters out and we still should have beat them.

It sucks that we lost but damn it if last night didn't make me love Freeze even more than I already did. We could have folded up after last week but we came out and played our nuts off. As long as he is our head coach, we are going to have our chances to win the SEC.

I don't see any way we would have folded considering we were still in the 4 team bracket. We had everything to play for. The real test will be to see if we fold from here on out or not.
I'm just sick of my heart being ripped out every time I get some hope for Ole Miss. So sick of this fricking bullshite. Do y'all think God actually hates us? Maybe for our past sins?

I never really changed the way I was living and we made it to Omaha, so I think we're ok in that regard.

As an AU fan we definitely snuck away with one and when it came to crunch time Ole Miss had a number of things not bounce their way. Ole Miss is easily a top team
That said, if you want to be an elite team in contention for a title you can't lose at home when the other team has 150 yards in penalties. Auburn didn't punt well, had trouble early on Offensively and gifted OM 3rd and long conversions and 50 yard runs by Wallac . Blames the refs (not sure why since it def was a fumble) all you want but it isn't their fault you didn't capitalize. Can't bitch at an umpire on a called 3rd strike after swinging at two pitches in the dirt
With Freezus y'all have a bright future and these are issues that get fixed by good coaching over time. Don't be mistaken by thinking someone pulled one over on Ole Miss though

The last two games, we've been our own downfall. LSU gave us 4 turnovers and we couldn't win. Auburn had 150 yards in penalties and we got inside the five twice in the last 10 minutes and couldn't win. It's all on us. We have to learn how to capitalize if we're ever going to win the west. We did that in the Alabama game but for some reason it has slipped on us the last two weeks.

This is not a posi-melt. This is a truth-post. Our team looked great and just came up short. It's ok to be proud of them.
Last week we looked like shite and it was mind-boggling when anyone tried to spin it positively.
