I know sacks don't always tell the whole story so that's why I'm asking. I see Rasco leads the team with 3 and nobody else has more than 2. Are they getting any sort of pressure?

They were getting literally zero pressure prior to the Florida game.
Since then, they have vastly improved, and were clearly rattling Bo with only their 4 down linemen.

This past game was the first time in a while that I can remember Chavis unleashing blitz after blitz and it was definitely affecting Wallace. We didn't have a bunch of sacks but he was nervous back there for sure.

It's fine. Just been facing a lot of mobile QBs. Hunter and Rasco have been exploding off the ball and our blitzes off the edge with the safeties have worked well. Beckwith up the middle looks promising too.

Danielle Hunter has been our best player on the defense over the course of the season in its entirety.
Lately, though, Adams and Beckwith have been more important.

Pressure has improved, but our guys getting their hands up to bat down passes has vastly increased.
How many did the DL get their hands on versus Ole Miss? 7?

LSU actually has two good DEs, they just don't have gaudy stats because the interior line was so green. Now that the young DTs have stepped up their play you are seeing Rasco and hunter start to eat.

It's improving every game. Chavis has been doing different things like standing Rasco up and moving him around.

Just like every aspect of our team, it's getting better every week. Rasco and Hunter have been playing out of their minds ever since the Auburn game.

The pressure has been ramped up since Chief started using multiple sets and schemes. You'll see some 3-3-5 in obvious passing situations, a move that has proven effective these past three weeks. Also, the Tigers probably lead the SEC in passes batted down at the line. One thing to remember regarding sacks is that LSU has played a number of team with running QB's which is partially the reason for only 15 sacks. However, a great number of the other 38 TFL have been QB's tackled btl on called running plays. They're getting better, these young Tigers. Only two seniors start on defense. Only three on offense, for that matter.

I'm surprised Hunter's sack total isn't higher. This could be a game where he changes that.

More of a containment and jump to block passing lanes kind of D - line
