It just won't look very good. I don't really blame UGA, but in the end, your star player getting tons of attention managed to sell autographs to a bunch of different people under your watch. What are you suing for?
I just don't think it'd be wise for UGA to draw a bunch of attention to the situation, although I don't expect anything too sinister would come out.
