I'm not trying to be a dick about this, but those rankings are just a joke. A&M is not a top 20 team, they have been blown out 3 weeks in a row. UF is a complete dumpster fire. Tennessee is 2 years away from being top 25

Michigan, like UF, complete dumpster fire. Indiana, 3-4 Indiana, beat Mizzou at Mizzou, but agreed they suck.

I don't understand FPI I guess. And ESPN's explanation doesn't have a formula anywhere. I mean the FPI has OU as the top Big 12 team, 15 spots ahead of a team who beat them at their house.

I don't understand!!

I could use F+, ESPN FPI, Sagarin, whatever system you want that ranks teams based on their performance it would give you a very similar ranking. Those "bad" SEC teams are night and day better than the mid level - bad Big Ten teams that MSU has beaten.

Well explain to me why Nebraska is a good team then? And the rest of those teams Michigan State beat are putrid. And their loss at Oregon was by 19 points.

Alabama is right about where they should be.

Tell me why.

I guess what i have an issue with is this. Where did UF get this ranking from. They have wins over eastern Mich. Kentucky in triple OT, and Tennessee by 1. Why is Tennessee getting respect in these polls? I mean Indiana may well beat UF this year (they already beat Mizzou who clocked UF). Tennesee has wins over Chattanooga, Utah St. and Arky St., yet they count as a top 35 win?

I think Alabama beats MSU on a neutral field, but when I look at their resumes, just because UF and Tennesee have historically been good doesn't mean they are better than dog crap this year

Maybe I need to take a crash course in how Sagarin etc work, because there is no poll in the country that should have OU ahead of Kansas State right now, by any measure or poll
