I would rather go to the dentist than go to Tin Roof or Two Keys. Great bar scene downtown. If you were pleasant and capable of speaking English sufficiently to communicate, someone would have probably told you.

Also, I tailgate on grass, steps away from my gate and under sizeable trees. Seems good to me? Granted, it's not a place some random visiting fan would be able to set up.

Put another way, Lexington has never (rightly or wrongly) been a city for the uninitiated.

On the broader note, partying in Lexington is what you make it. The great yankee horde invasion of the 1980's changed many dynamics but the locals and the EKY folks are always pretty damned hospitable.
